A special combination coating which provides the benefits of Anti-Reflection with a tough, hardwearing finish which resists scratches and helps prolong the life of your lenses.
30% Thinner + Anti-Reflective & Anti-Scratch
These lenses are made from a special material using a optimised lens shape to produce a finished lens which is typically 30% thinner than a standard lens of the same prescription. Typical Index Range: 1.58-1.61 (depending on prescription)
45% Thinner + Anti-Reflective & Anti-Scratch
This lens combines the best aspheric design and shape optimisation, together with the latest lens materials to produce a lens which is typically 45% thinner than a standard lens of the same prescription. Highly recommended for spectacle wearers with prescriptions over +/-4.00D. Typical Index Range: 1.61-1.67 (depending on prescription)

Lenses which rapidly darken when exposed to bright sunlight, fading back to virtually clear when indoors. Photochromic lenses also block UV light, helping to protect your eyes from potentially harmful effects.
Buying Varifocal Glasses
 After you order prescription glasses with varifocal lenses we send you a sample spectacle frame and ask you to send us a photo of yourself wearing the frame. This allows our opticians to take the measurements they would normally take manually, if you were fitted in a high-street practice. These measurements are important because with varifocal lenses, lens alignment is critical to good vision. It's also important to ensure the frame fits you well before lenses are made.
You can use any type of camera, including a mobile phone camera, digital camera or even an ordinary film camera. You can send digital photos directly to us by email. Alternatively send prints to us along with the glasses in the padded envelope supplied.

All Varifocal glasses are covered by a 28-day non-tolerance warranty.
If you feel your vision is not of a satisfactory standard with your new varifocal spectacles, you may return them to us for a full refund within 28 days of supply. In the unlikely event that you're experiencing a problem with any type of glasses supplied by us, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible.
