There are two different types of prescription sunglasses, each with its own benefits and advantages: Direct-Glazed and Insert-Based.
Insert-Based Sunglasses
 This is the most cost-effective and flexible system for prescription sports glasses and sunglasses. A lightweight mini frame, holding your prescription lenses is mounted directly behind sunglass lenses. This arrangement gives you the combined benefits of sun protection, along with excellent field of vision and a minimum of disortion.  Furthermore, we can also fit over 90% of prescriptions to an Prescription Insert Clip, so don't worry if you've been told your prescription is too high for other prescription sunglasses. On most inserts, our lab can supply up to +/-4.00D (sph) and 2.00D (cyl) prescriptions. If your prescription is outside this range, please contact us as we may still be able to help you.
 All insert-based prescription eyewear features interchangeable sun lenses, so you can customise your glasses to suit your activity and the prevailing weather conditions.
Direct Glazed
 If you prefer to have sunglasses without a separate insert, we also offer a growing range of high performance eyewear with you prescription fitted directly into the frame. Using the very latest technology we supply your prescription in high-performance wrap-round sunglass lenses. Direct-glazed sports glasses offer the best possible cosmetic appearance as well as a fantastic range of colours and lens finishes, all with 100% UV protection. Some of the latest models even feature interchangeable lenses!
